Cassadee Pope’s CMT Docuseries To Premiere October 4, 2013

Hot on the heels of announcing the October 8th release date for her new album Frame By Frame and releasing the album cover art, Season 3 Voice champ Cassadee Pope now also has a premiere date for her still untitled CMT docuseries (what are the odds the title winds up involving the phrase “frame by frame”?).

CMT announced Cassadee’s docuseries will premiere Friday, October 4th, at 9 PM Eastern. It’s not clear how many episodes the series will have, but the announcement says the show:

offers a behind-the-scenes look at up-and-coming artist, Cassadee Pope, the winner of Season 3 of “The Voice,” and her journey to become a star. THE UNTITLED CASSADEE POPE PROJECT is produced by Good Clean Fun, with Jason Carbone, Nick Lee and Lyle Gamm serving as executive producers. Julia Silverton executive produces for CMT.

It will obviously be a synergistic showcase for Cassadee when she releases her album.

Cassadee’s single “Wasting All These Tears,” written by Caitlyn Smith and Rollie Gallswyk currently sits at #37 on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase country chart, having slowed down (predictably) after a (predictably) fast start. Her single has not received great feedback on Callout America and Radio Feedback surveys (ranking towards the bottom of surveyed songs), though the response show signs of positive movement as familiarity with “Wasting All These Tears” grows.
