Whoa, that was fast! Hot on the heels of announcing her new single, “Little Toy Guns”, country superstar and Season 4 American Idol champ Carrie Underwood has released a video trailer for the song and set a video premiere date!
According to an official press release, the “Little Toy Guns” video will premiere on Carrie’s Facebook page at 10a Central time Friday, January 30th. The song will also be sent to radio at that time, with an official adds date of 2/17. E! News will have a “first look video feature” on its Thursday night episode. Check out the video trailer here:
If the young girl in the video looks familiar, it’s because she is Grace Rundhaug, who played Marta in NBC’s 2013 The Sound Of Music-Live! telecast, which of course starred Carrie as Maria!
“Little Toy Guns,” cowritten by Chris DeStefano, Hillary Lindsey and Carrie, is the 2nd single from Carrie’s Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album, which has sold 253k copies since its 12/9/2014 release, and is certified gold (because it’s a double-disc with a run time of over 100 minutes, the RIAA counts each double disc sale as two shipments). The video is directed by P.R. Brown, who also directed Carrie’s video for “Two Black Cadillacs.”
