This week’s Idol Billboard Update!
Here are the highlights:
- Bucky Covington’s new single “It’s Good To Be Us” debuts at #54 on the Hot Country Chart.
- Elliott Yamin’s “Wait For You” debuts on yet another chart. It debuts at #42 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
- Moving up the charts this week: Jordan Sparks’ “Tattoo” moves from #88 to #84 on the Pop 100 and from #45 to #48 on the Pop Airplay chart. Daughtry’s “Over You” moves from #44 to #38 on the Hot 100, #53 to #47 on the Hot 100 Airplay, #27 to #22 on the Pop 100, #20 to #16 on the Pop 100 Airplay, #13 to #11 on the Hot Adult Top 40, #48 to #36 on the Hot Digital Tracks and #54 to #40 on Hot Digital Songs.
- Not only did all of the Idols’ sales numbers decrease this week, but it was the worst week for album sales in the history of Soundscan. Downloads were up 5%.
