Billboard – Chart Date 01/30/2016

Idol auditioneer Lauren Daigle returns to the top of the Christian album chart with “How Can It Be” for the third non-consecutive week.

David Bowie debuts at the top the Artist 100 chart. His songs and albums popped up all over the charts including topping the BB200 and Album sales charts. Interestingly, his death not only spurred sales of his own music, it also reminded people of others who had died. Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Eva Cassidy, Nirvana and Michael Jackson (and others) returned to various charts.

As we all know, there are approximately 50,029 Billboard charts. This is a summary of just some of those charts and how the Idols/Voicers/XFactorers/Sing-Offers/AGTers did on them this week. Please feel free to post rankings from your favourite BB chart or any other numbers you care to share. This is the daily numbers thread.
