As expected, HoH Liz did not use the Power of Veto, which she won in competition on Saturday.

Becky and John remain on the block, with Becky likely to be evicted on Thursday. She suspects she’s the target this week, but doesn’t know for sure. Liz plans on telling her later in the week, letting her down in a way that doesn’t make them enemies. It’s tricky eliminating houseguests now that Jury members are eligible to return.

Vanessa fretted all weekend–her usual crying and whining to anyone who would listen about what a victim she is, how she’s alone in the game, her fears of being backdoored, BLAH BLAH BLAH. But now that she’s safe for the week, she’s back to talking game with the Austwins. She wants to cut a deal with John, but at the same time, she thinks he needs to go next.

In the meantime, Austin, Julia and Liz diss Vanessa behind her back, and moan about how they’re sick of her. But again–they are afraid to backdoor her. Vanessa is also a bigger target than they are. It’s better for their game to keep her around. The plan right now is to play along with her game and hopefully James or John or somebody other than them wins HoH next week and takes her out. The Austwins are considering throwing the competition. Vanessa plans to try her hardest to win. And if she does win? Ugh. She’ll take out James or one of the Goblins, making it even harder to ditch her. That is, unless Becky or Jackie eventually returns to the house to kick some ass.
