X Factor contestant, Astro, who revealed to the Hollywood Reporter yesterday that he did not believe he was really in the bottom two–hence the onstage hissy fit–tells the New York Post that his mom wants him to quit the show, but he’s willing to give it another week!
Season 10 American Idol alum, Stefano Langone revealed to the Examiner when he dropped by the GBK Luxury suite during the AMA weekend celebrations that he’s just signed a recording contract.
All shows dropped this week but Dancing With The Stars ratings were down 27% vs. part one of last Fall’s finale to a 3.6 adults 18-49 rating. OUCH!
For some good news: NBC’s Sing Off rose 8% from last week to a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. Still not great, but at least it didn’t drop. It’s a shame the ratings are so low for this most excellent singing competition.
Scotty McCreery has been added to the list of performers for the American Country Awards airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday December 5 at 8p (ET) on FOX-TV.
It’s an upgrade for Scotty, who was originally scheduled to appear, along with Lauren Alaina. It looks like Season 6 Idol winner, Jordin Sparks will be making an appearance too.

The drama never seems to end for beleaguered X Factor contestant, Astro. The fifteen year old rapper copped an attitude on Tuesday when he was put into the bottom 2 and had to sing for his life. Afterward, visibly upset, he cried as both Simon Cowell and LA Reid lectured him about his attitude.
“I felt like I was being treated unfairly, basically that was X Factor’s way of punishing me. I don’t care to talk about what happened, but I doubt I was in the bottom two.”
