He asks help from a woman in the audience. But he’s got his eye on the judges panel. And since Heidi Klum is out with a mysterious illness, Sofia Vergara winds up in the hot seat. “I’m not going to swallow anying!” she declares.

Her job is to pull the sword out of his throat once he’s swallowed it. Needless to say, Sofia cringes at the thought. “What if I kill you?” she asks. “I made the wrong choice,” Brett quips. The two are hilarious as Sofia refuses over and over to complete the task, Howie Mandel screams at her, while Simon Cowell watches, amused.
