Tonight’s America’s Got Talent contestants were even wackier than usual.
You’ve got to check out Mary Ellen. Really, there are no words to describe her. She’s really awful, but she must be seen. She’s the Vote For The Worst pick, by the way. Favorite moment: The random cardboard cow that breezes by behind her.
Also leaving me speechless: Prince Poppycock. Wow. The judges keep harping on his good vocals. They aren’t, really. But the outfits? And the makeup? If he doesn’t make it in Vegas, he should consider moving to Provincetown.
Taylor Matthews, tonight’s White Guy With Guitar was totally channeling Tim Urban. Not necessarily a good thing…
And the best act of the night: Murray the magician. The magic stunt he pulled off with the tiger and the girl tonight was truly stunning.
This is the last week of the Top 48. Tomorrow, we find out the 4 who made it through, at which point, the Top 16 will be revealed.
Also: Da Maniacs (bad dancing), Nu Covenant (horrifying harmonies), Anna and Patryk (kiddie ballroom dancers: good, but I hate kids on tv), Lindsey Stirling (violin playing with random hip-hop dancers. Strange), Doogie Horner (“comedian”), Rudi Macaggi (icky saw act), ArcAttack (fun with lightening), Strikers (lame stepping troupe. Not sure why they were last).
