Amid all the changes and uncertainty in the Idol world right now, the cattle-call auditions for American Idol 10 continued today in East Rutherford, NJ.
According to reports, 17, 000 Idol hopefuls packed the Izod Center in East Rutherford today to audition for the opportunity to sing for Idol producers. Hopefuls who pass the producers round, will perform in front of the judges’ panel in September, the members of which are still unknown.
“It’s incredible how many people turned out, ” Ryan Seacrest said from inside the auditions, “Among 17, 000 people, there has to be some jewels we can take back to Hollywood with us.”
Broadcasting from inside the Izod center, Ryan told his KIIS FM audience it could be weeks before the uncertainty over the show’s new judges finally comes to an end.
Season 4 Idol, Constantine Maroulis was on hand to talk to the crowd.
