Season 18 will feature at least SEVEN Golden Buzzers. ON Britain’s Got Talent, the show has been handing them out left and right, so it’s no surprise.

John Wines – Guitarist

NBC dropped this audition early! John is a middle aged music teacher. He’s a guitarist with a very popular Tik Tok page and a very accomplished rock guitarist. He performs Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and electrifies the audience and judges panel. The hook is his bookish wardrobe. Close your eyes and imagine make up, crazy clothes and a hair sprayed 80s do. But no!

“I was not expecting that,” Simon remarks adding “You turn into someone else when you perform.” The crowd wants more and John becomes very emotional. Sofia calls it “fun to watch.” John found the experience both nerve wracking and exhilarating. Heidi calls him “the cutest.” John was waiting for the red Xs, but instead he got 4 yeses

Brynn Cu mmings – Kid ventriloquist

It’s another kid ventriloquist. She’s from Paw Paw Michigan and is 12 years old. Brynn is the same age as as Darci Lynn when her ventriloquism won season 12 in 2017. Darci Lynn inspired Brynn to also take up the art. Brynn’s puppet, Penelope, is a pink skunk. The skunk doesn’t want to sing. She wants to do mentalism instead. Brynn approaches the judges panel to do a magic trick. The judges hold up items, and with her puppet’s “assistance” a blindfolded Brynn guesses all the items correctly. The humor and snark is very Darci-like. But the magic is a new twist.

Sofia calls her adorable and fun. Howie calls the act a “mashup.” and Brynn “amazing.” Heidi says, “well done.” Simon calls her charming and talented and unique. He liked the magic twist a lot. Brynn becomes very emotional backstage with her parents. “This is the best moment of my life,” she cries. 4 yeses

Roland Abante – Singer

Roland is from the Phillipines and needs an interpreter. He sings karaoke in the neighborhood, he says, and is a fisherman and delivery person. But he has recorded a duet with the Journey lead singer, Arnel Pineda, gone viral on Youtube and has appeared on Ellen. Heidi runs up on stage to give the nervous singer a big hug. He’s thrilled, but still nervous. He sings “When a Man Loves a Woman.” He’s naturally soulful, but sings like a foreign person sounding out English. However, he does have a pleasing raspy tone.

The crowd gives him a standing ovation. “That hug really worked!” notes Howie. “You left it all on that stage…you should be very proud of yourself,” says Heidi. Sofia says, “You’re going to have to stop fishing.” Simon loved the audition. When Roland admits that Simon is his favorite the judge also gives the singer a hug. Howie says, “It’s the emotion. We could feel your heart. A life changing moment.” 4 yeses

Alex and Alex – Musical Duo

One Alex plays guitar, the other a harp. Simon looks very very bored. Which is a bad sign. “I don’t see this as a show in Las Vegas.” Sads.- 4 nos.

Riccardo Pace – Hand percussionist

Riccardo is dressed in a tux, so Sofia imagines that he’s an opera singer. However, he lifts his hands and plays fart percussion. OH BOY A JOKE CONTESTANT. He performs Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This” which makes it kind of funny. Simon buzzes him, but the crowd goes wild.

“You flew all the way from Italy to do that,” Simon asks (the same question he asked the helicopter guy last week). Howie jokes that his music is handmade. Heidi thinks the skill is hard. Howie says yes. Simon says no. Heidi says yes. Sofia gives into the crowd and says yes. Simon calls the other three “nuts.” – 3 yeses Simon says No

Ahren Belisle – Comic

NBC previewed this audition last week. Ahren was born with cerebral palsy and is mute. He tells jokes using a text to speech app on his phone. He jokes that his service dog is trained to go after hecklers. He’s 28 years old and is an engineer in Canada. He pokes fun at his disability and is pretty clever. Basically, he sends out his monologue in bits with a press of a button. It’s a different way of telling jokes. While describing a “Karen”giving him a hard time, he uses a female voice to mimic her.

Simon calls him “Funny and fearless…this is going to change your life.” Sofia says, “I hope that you are the one comedian that finally wins AGT.” Heidi calls him clever and cheeky. Howie says, “You seem to have a grasp of timing and humor….you aren’t going to be doing engineering much longer.” 4 yeses

Grace Good – Acrobatic Hula Hooper

Thirty year old Grace is from Nashville. In college she became obsessed with the Hula Hoop. Later, she moved to Las Vegas where she busks and street performs. She’s had some viral success on social media, but has not broken into the big time. She combines hula hoop with silks to perform intricate tricks and makes difficult tricks seem effortless. She ends her routine with a fire hoop! Wow. She’s got 3 fire oops going all in different spots, including above her on the silk.

Heidi was surprised. “You should be in Las Vegas.” Howie calls her the best hula hooper. “That was amazing.” Sofia calls it a “perfect audition.” Grace promises her next routine will be even crazier – 4 yeses

Alfie Andrew – Kid singer

Eleven year old Alfie is from Manchester, UK and has had viral success on Youtube. He’s also appeared on a few local TV shows in England. Simon compliments his outfit, calling him “cool.” Alfie has been singing all his life. He covers Lady Gaga’s “Hold my Hand” with a huge innocent sounding voice. He’s got a total David Archuleta Star Search era vibe going. His unchanged voice hits incredible high notes.

Heidi says, “You can really sing!” Howie says, “You hit every note!” Sofia says, “I want to buy your record.” Simon calls his voice distinct. “You made the right decision to come here. People are going to remember you.” 4 yeses

David Rush – Guinness World Record breaker

Terry mentions that David was on another season and broke a record for ripping t shirts. Now the Guinness adjudicator is here to oversee David’s attempt to break a record. Howie said no to him last time. This time, David invites him on stage to help him break the fist bumping record.

Simon, Heidi and Sofia buzz them almost immediately. Maybe they Jelly, because if they break the record together, Howie’s name will be listed on the entry. The bumping was so fast, the adjudicator goes backstage to watch the film and count. 273 was the Mark to beat. They had…380 A NEW RECORD! They definitely jelly and all say no. Except for Howie. 1 yes, 3 nos

Alexandr Leshchenko – Dancer

Alexandr and his wife and partner Lina traveled to the US from Ukraine. AGT alums, Light Balance dance crew are their “great friends.” Alexandr is more than a dancer. The act is a multimedia show with lights and effects. His stage is a 3-D box, which makes this act different than similar types of projection acts.

After, the judges are on their feet. His wife introduces the show’s designer, who deserves a ton of credit. Sofia calls it “insane.” Simon calls it an audition “we are all going to remember.” Heidi compliments his dancing. “So many wow moments.” Howie thinks they are even better than Light Balance. Sofia believes they could win the show. – 4 yeses

Herwan Legaillard – Sword Swallower

Herwan is 33 and from France. He’s wearing very high platforms. DANGEROUS STUNT DO NOT ATTEMPT text across the screen warns. It’s sword swallowing WHICH I HATE mostly. It’s so gross. Sofia isn’t enjoying herself. Ohhh. He swallows a curved sword. OUCHIES. He also does acrobatics on a silk while he works. Then he brings out the light up sword. The light is visible through his skin on his throat. For what it is, it’s very daring and he’s a good performer. But NOPE.

Heidi calls him incredible. She loved the combo. Sofia says, “That was heart stopping. It was very different.” Howie says, “I loved it You’re very unique.” Simon appreciates his showmanship, adding “You’re nuts!” 4 yeses

Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy – Drumline – Terry Crews’ Golden Buzzer

8 year old Chioma has been drumming since he was 1 years old and started the drum academy at 3. He wants to be the best drummer in the world! He’s dreamed about receiving the golden buzzer. It’s the last performance of the night so… The little boy fronts a group of drummers who are all very adorable.

Howie calls the act fun and energetic. “I love you.” Heidi compliments them for spending time outside of school putting an amazing act together. Sofia again predicts a winner. Simon says, “I didn’t like it…” The crowd boos like they haven’t heard that set up a thousand times before. “…I loved it.”

Terry interrupts the voting “NO NEED TO VOTE.” He will fulfill Chioma’s life long dream by smashing the Golden Buzzer.
