America’s Got Talent 2021 live shows continue with the third and final week of Quarterfinals. Twelve more of the Top 36 acts will compete for your votes.

Well that was disappointing! Last week’s AGT acts represented the okay, the bad and the ugly. Nobody truly impressed me, and honestly it might have been one of the weakest live shows I’ve ever seen.

The best of the night was Josh Blue, and even he only got me to laugh once. But this week is stacked with 3 of my 4 favorite acts in the entire competition, so I have to hope that we’re in for a good show.

Like the show itself, my power list last week was also pretty terrible. Of the 5 acts I said would be cut, two of them made it through. I’m going to try to do better this week! Note that since the wildcard hasn’t been announced yet, I only have 11 acts on my power list. And a reminder that this isn’t about what I want to happen, it’s what I think will happen.

11 – Keith Apicary: I don’t know how Keith made it to live shows. Well, I do know – Simon loves his joke acts. But I also know he’s not making it any further.

10 – ANICA: Based on her audition, Anita has a fantastic voice. However, she’s old fashioned, and Simon’s totally going to throw her under the bus.

9 – UniCircle Flow: They didn’t get very many views at all on YouTube. The act is basically one trick over and over again as well. I think they’re probably doomed.

8 – Rialcris: They’re talented and good looking but I would think that wouldn’t be enough on such a stacked week.

7 – Chapkidz: They’re not bad but compared to World Taekwondo Demonstration, they’re totally ordinary. I think at best, they’re on the bubble.

6 – Klek Entos: The masked magician thing was already done on BGT and AGT Champions by Marc Spelman. I think Klek could advance but if I’m honest, this type of magic does nothing for me.

5 – The Curtis Family C-Notes: They’re definitely a talented bunch and their audition got a lot of views. I think they’ve got a good chance at making it.

4 – Brooke Simpson: In my opinion, Brooke is the best singer in the competition this year. She’s current, has fantastic range, and picked a great song for herself in the first round. Assuming the song choice is good this week, she should be safe. I don’t know for sure given how packed this week is, but I have to hope that if any singer makes it, Brooke does.

3 – Michael Winslow: He’s the plantiest plant in AGT history. I mean, he’s literally a movie star already. But as long as people don’t rebel against him for his plantiness, I think he’s sailing through. He’s undeniably talented and the best sound effects type act I’ve ever seen.

2 – Léa Kyle: Before this season began, Léa was the act I was most excited about. Her routine on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us was one of my all time favorites, and she did even better on her AGT audition. She totally earned her golden buzzer. It would be the shock of the year if she didn’t sail through to at least the top 10.

1 – World Taekwondo Demonstration Team: Now that Nightbirde (sadly) had to drop out of the competition, I think this is the act most likely to win the million dollars. They got more views than anyone else remaining, they got a golden buzzer, they’re unique, and they’re undeniably talented. I’d be quite happy if they won.
