For the first time ever, a spoken word poet won America’s Got Talent last year. And as such, the season 15 winner, Brandon Leake narrates the new AGT promo, featuring upcoming contestants, with poetry. “It was all a dream,” Brandon says of his own experience last summer. “Hopes of large stages, roaring audiences, spotlights, cameras, action. The aspiration to be the main attraction, no matter the talent, either conventional or downright absurd.”
He continues, “We’ve all fantasized of being immersed in the golden glow of when buzzers turn confetti, but the idea of the panel’s judging eye will make one question: Can I fill these shoes?” he continues. “And the answer is a resounding yes! Because what lies on this stage is the opportunity to turn crowds into thunder, opportunity into destiny. To take your talent and show the world America’s Got Talent,” concludes the father of one from Stockton, Calif.

America’s Got Talent Returns Summer 2021 With No Cast Changes
All those fancy words for a show that features, like, dogs farting. But hey, there is a $1 million dollar prize! The clip will premiere during Saturday’s Kentucky Derby on NBC. AGT shot the promo at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
The crew, including judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara filmed the auditions this spring. With shows like American Idol and The Voice welcoming small audiences back into the live studio, America’s Got Talent will surely follow.
