After parting ways with Big Machine Records last year, Nick Fradiani got right to work on new music. Finally, the American Idol 14 winner has dropped his long-awaited next single “I’ll Wait For You.”
“It’s very exciting, and it’s more organic sounding,” Nick told Digital Journal about the new song. “We wrote it back in Connecticut, and it’s a really feel-good song. It’s a good end of summer song. I am happy that it’s the first single that will come out.”
Indeed, the acoustic song, punctuated with handclaps and Beatlesque harmonica flourishes boasts a catchy, upbeat chorus. “I’ll wait for you…” Nick sings, pledging his undying love to a summer romance. The song is available on all digital platforms, including Spotify. Listen below.
Additionally, “I’ll Wait For You” is the first single off of Nick’s upcoming collection of music, Where We Left Off. The 6 song EP is set for release on October 13 and now available for pre-order.

“When we got back into the studio, I wanted to find a way to express how far we’ve come and the direction we’re headed,” the singer said about the upcoming set. “These songs encompass the feelings I had as we created Where We Left Off and I hope that it shows.”
