American Idol 2018 winner Maddie Poppe is heading out on the road this fall. She’ll be opening for singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson.
Ingrid posted the news on social media: “TOUR ALERT – Bringing this sweetheart @maddiepoppe on tour as my special guest on The Dramatic Tour OCT 3-OCT 29! There is going to be a lot of harmonizing and fan girling all October long. Bring cookies and scented candles thanks.”

Ingrid’s hit songs include the hit song “The Way I Am” released in 2007 followed by “Be OK” in 2008. Currently, the singer is supporting her single “Missing You” from her eighth album, Stranger Songs, released in June. The set was inspired by the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Maddie’s current single “Made You Miss” from her post-Idol debut Whirlwind peaked at No. 21 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Music chart. The singer has been crisscrossing the country on a radio tour promoting the song. In fact, she opened for Ingrid for a radio hosted gig at the Williamsburg Winery in Virginia on August 24.
