When Maddie released her debut holiday album last year, she wrote on social media: “This EP will be my first independent release since Songs From the Basement”(2016), which makes it very special to me. It gave me a chance to once again have total creative and musical control and I think you’ll hear that it’s genuine to my sound as you listen through each song.”
