American Idol’s Gabby Barrett Joins Jason Aldean’s 2022 Summer Tour

Gabby Barrett will join Jason Aldean on his Rock N’ Roll Cowboy Tour when it kicks off on July 15 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The American Idol season 16 alum will join other special guests John Morgan and Dee Jay Silver. The tour will span 34 cities.

Gabby, the reigning Academy of Country Music New Female Artist of the Year will co-host the 2022 ACM Awards Ceremony with fellow country singer and American Idol alum, Jimmie Allen. This year, she’s nominated in the Female Artist of the Year category for the first time. The ACM Awards will stream live on Amazon Prime March 7.

After the singer came in 3rd place on American Idol in 2018, she signed a deal with Warner Music Nashville. The country singer has amassed nearly 2 billion global streams, including her expanded version of her debut album, Goldmine (Deluxe). The set features current single “Pick Me Up,” in addition to her meteoric 5X platinum “I Hope.” The hit song is the most-streamed Country song of 2020.

The 4-week Hot AC #1 crossover “I Hope (feat. Charlie Puth)” earned the iHeartRadio Titanium Award for reaching over 1 billion radio spins. Gabby’s second single, the three-week #1 “The Good Ones” went platinum. Reigning atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for a record-breaking 27 weeks, “I Hope” was the first debut single by a solo female artist to top the Country radio charts since 2017 and made her the youngest artist with a #1 debut at Country radio in over two decades.
