Hey European American Idol fans. You are in for a treat. David Cook and Kris Allen–season 7 and 8 winners respectively–are headed your way for a Spring 2020 acoustic tour.
David and Kris announced the tour Monday morning (Oct 21) on social media. Dubbed “Dave & Kris Go To Europe Acoustic Tour 2020”, the singers will kick things off in Dublin Ireland on April 15 and wind up in Helsinki Finland on April 26. Tickets go on sale October 23.
“Europe 2020!” Kris wrote on Twitter, “I am so excited to be joining my friend @thedavidcook on tour next Spring. Tickets on-sale this Wednesday, 10/23. Come on out!”
“Europe! Get ready!,” wrote David. “Tickets on sale Wednesday, 23rd October!”
It’s not entirely surprising that the back-to-back Idol winners are touring together. Both reside in Nashville, and recently, Kris dropped in for a surprise duet of “In Your Eyes” when David played Nashville back in August.
Currently, David is gearing up to start a US tour in Omaha, Nebraska on October 27. Kris is in the midst of his “10 Years 1 Night” tour, which celebrates his 10 year post-Idol anniversary.
