American Idol’s Cade Foehner Drops “Breathe Out” Music Video

American Idol Top 5 finalist Cade Foehner has dropped a music video for his coronation song, “Breathe Out.” The clip features the rock singer in both black and white silhouette and full living color, performing the song.

Co-written by Steve Solomon (James Arthur Say You Won’t Let Go), Cameron Walker (Lindsey Stirling, All Time Low) and Tash Phillips (Little Mix, Tori Kelly), the tune boasts thumping guitars and a heavy groove.

Each of the Top 5 American Idol contestants recorded winners singles. But it was only the Top 3 finalists–Maddie Poppe (winner), Caleb Lee Hutchinson (runner-up) and Gabby Barrett (2nd runner-up)–that performed the songs in competition.

However, once the season was over, the show made the singles from the remaining Top 5 finalists, including Michael J. Woodard, available to stream and download.
