American Idol Earns Solid Wednesday Ratings, World’s Best Ticks Up

American Idol 2019 Shayy

American Idol ratings earned a 1.4 in the 18-49 demo, down 4/10s of a point from its Sunday night premiere. Considering the show aired on a “special” night due to The Bachelor currently airing in Idol’s regular Monday slot, lower ratings were to be expected. Plus, Idol won the night in viewers.

First the good news. The World’s Best rose 2/10ths of a point to .06 compared to last week’s final .04 rating. The bad news. It was Wednesday’s lowest rated reality show by nearly a point.

Survivor ratings won the night with a 1.5 in the demo, steady with last week’s number.

UPDATE: American Idol rose to a 1.5 in the final update
