The Voice UK Reveals Celebrity Knockout Mentors

With The Voice UK Knockouts beginning on March 16, ITV has just announced the celebrities who will join forces with the coaches to help mentor their teams.

In the Knockouts, Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am are tasked with cutting their six contestants down to two acts that will compete in the live rounds.

Joining Olly Murs will be BRIT nominee, Anne-Marie, who said she“loved being Olly’s guest coach on The Voice this year. It was an amazing experience to hear all of the contestants’ voices up close and to hear all of their stories.”

Jennifer Hudson has Years and Years’ lead singer, Olly Alexander on board to lend a hand. He loved witnessing the “love and passion she has for her very talented team.”

Tom Jones is joined by singer-songwriter and X Factor UK alum James Arthur, who teased that Team Tom has “huge potential….and hopefully the winner!”

Also reaching into the pool of X Factor alums, will.i.am has enlisted former UK and USA judge Nicole Scherzinger to help him out. Speaking about her friend, Nicole said, “Will is an exceptional coach and has incredible musical ears, and I was so pleased he asked me to lend my support to nurture these artists throughout this process.” Additionally, Nicole recently judged the US smash reality show, The Masked Singer.

The Battles Part 3 air on ITV on Saturday March 9 beginning at  8 PM GMT/3 PM EST.

FYI: The US will switch to Daylight Savings Time on March 11. Starting with the March 16 episode,  The Voice UK will air four hours earlier in the Eastern time zone. After the UK changes to BST on March 31, we’ll be back to the typical 5 hour time difference.
