Last weekend, the American Idol judges, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie were in Savannah Georgia auditioning hopefuls for season 16.
Being a Georgia boy himself (from the same hometown as season 11 winner Phillip Phillips!) Luke Bryan couldn’t resist “crashing” a local wedding before the crew left town. The singer just happened to walk in on the nuptials (ahem) while his song, “Crash My Party,” was playing.
Newlyweds McKenna and Austin were holding their wedding reception down the street from the American Idol auditions, and now they’ll likely become part of the show. You’ll have to wait until March when American Idol returns to television on ABC.
