Billboard reports that Kelly Clarkson is headed for her 8th top 10 album. All of her full-length studio albums have gone top 10 (her Greatest Hits album was 11th. They predict she will sell about 75K equivalent albums.
Billboard had an article commenting on Niall Horan becoming the third 1D member to top the Artist 100 chart. They noted that not only is he the third member, 1D is the only band to have members top the Artist 100 chart as solo artists and the highest 1D itself got was 2. It is worth noting the chart is only three years old.
Billboard also has a large article on Zayn and his upcoming album. It discusses the creative process with lots of praise from the people he worked with. It notes that he’s yet to perform a concert like leaving 1D. “The band was like being in the army for him,” notes his manager, Sarah Stennett. ?!?
