Congratulations to Joey Cook, American Idol 14 finalist, who announced her engagement on twitter! Here she is showing off her pretty ring. I didn’t even know she had a boyfriend! But when a fan asked on twitter, she revealed that her boyfriend’s name is Evan. ETA: His full name is Evan Higgins.

Evan and Joey will have to put those wedding plans on hold for a bit. The singer has been coming on strong in the competition with a series of great performances, including covers of songs by Tears for Fears and Iggy Azalea, and has a very good chance to go the distance.
