American Idol 2018 alums Gabby Barrett and husband Cade Foehner are expecting their third child. Gabby announced that she was pregnant on Wednesday (August 30) in a social media post.
“Swipe for a surprise!” Gabby wrote in a caption on Instagram alongside three photos. Fans needed to be observant, but on the second photo “BABY #3” is printed on top of a blurry photo. The third photo shows Gabby in bed holding an at-home ultrasound machine to her stomach as she whispers, “There she is.”
Perhaps Gabby’s pregnancy explains the “mystery illness” back in July the resulted in the singer canceling a weekend of concerts.
“I’m sad to announce that I have to cancel this weekend of dates due to illness.” Gabby wrote on Instagram stories
She added, “I hate this part of it, but at the same time it’s best to let my voice and body recover rather than pushing through this time. I always strive to give my fans the best show possible when I step on stage and am looking forward to being back soon. Love y’all.”
The couple’s third child will join 10-month-old son Augustine Boone, whom they welcomed in October 2022, and 2½-year-old daughter Baylah May.
“Glory Days” music video features Gabby’s family
Most recently Gabby released the music video for her latest single “Glory Days” which features her and Cade along with children Baylah May and Augustine Boone engaging in everyday activities on their homestead.
“’Glory Days’ is about cherishing every moment with the people you love,” Gabby wrote to fans in an email message. “This video is so special to me and I’m excited to be sharing it with y’all TODAY!”
