The show opens with Terry outside hyping the audience. First up a time-wasting recap of last night’s performances.
Terry reveals the Top 5
First, Terry will announce the Top 5. The first result! Dani Kerr and Atlanta Drum Academy step forward. The first act in the Top 5 is…Atlanta Drum Academy. Dani Kerr is sent home.
More time wasting: It’s the Sonic lounge, featuring the 11 competing acts.
Next, Alfie Andrew and Sharpe Family SIngers step forward. One is still in the competition, the other is going home. Alfie Andrews is in the Top 5. Sharpe Family Singers are eliminated. Now, Andrew Stanton and Ahren Belisle step forward. The next act still in the competition is Ahren Belisle! Andrew Stanton is eliminated.
In another time-wasting clip, the dude who plays tunes via hand farts plays songs that must be answered correctly by Team Sofia and Team Heidi. Team Heidi wins!
Now, Three G and Ryland step forward. One is still in it, the other will go home! America has voted. The next act still in it is…Ryland! Three G is eliminated. The remaining acts take the stage. Murmuration, Erica Coffelt and Steel Panther. Three acts, one spot! The last act in the Top 5 and still in the competition is…Murmuration, of course!
Shin Lim performs!
NEXT, it’s America’s Got Talent winner Shin Lim doing his spectacular magic. He delivers a close up magic act with cards to the tune of Sting’s “Shape of My Heart.” Beautiful! It’s been five years since his first win. He says performing on the AGT stage is like coming back home. Shin Lim’s current headlining show is at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
Now, Terry reveals the Top 3. America has voted. The first act in the Top 3 is…Ahren Belisle! The next act in the Top 3 is…Atlanta Drum Academy! The third act in the Top 3 is…Murmuration! Alfie Andrews and Ryland are eliminated.
Terry reveals the Top 2 moving on to the finals
Finally, Terry announces the TWO acts moving to the finale! America has voted. The first act going into the finals is…Ahren Belisle! Now, it’s down to the two Golden Buzzers. And the second and final act moving on is…Murmuration! We say goodbye to Atlanta Drum Academy. Sorry Terry!
