American Idol’s landmark season 20 continues on ABC Monday March 21. The FIFTH audition episode includes hopefuls who sang in front of judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan in Austin, Los Angeles and Nashville. Host Ryan Seacrest is on hand to help, as always.
Sunday’s American Idol “auditions 5” episode includes the FINAL Platinum Ticket winner, a couple auditioning together, a ballet dancer and more social media stars.

American Idol Auditions 5 Contestants List
- Sir Blayke – Charlton “Blayke” Ridgell is a modern R&B/Hip-hop singer-songwriter. He recently wrote a song for recording artist Sevyn Streeter. He’s got producer, writing, and singing chops. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Kimmie Caraffa – 26 year old from Parma, Ohio graduated from Valley Forge (2015). A few years ago, after winning a karaoke contest, she sang Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” at a radio station concert. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Jay Copeland – Jay is the Austin Platinum Ticket holder, the 3rd and final of the special tickets awarded in each audition city. He graduated from Salisbury University (Maryland) with music and theater degree. Jay won his category at the National Association of Teachers of Singing National Student auditions, winning $1,600. - Emyrson Flora – Emmy is a high school student from Ohio. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Morgan Gruber – This high school senior from Ellwood City, Pennsylvania got cut right before the judges auditions last season. The singer gigs a lot locally and performs with the New Castle Mini Stars Choir. She’s a pop singer with a bit of country on the side. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Tobias Hill – An R&B singer, dancer and producer originally from Como, North Carolina, also goes by Prince TCH. He’s a graduate of North Carolina A & T State University where he studied music. Currently, he’s a middle school chorus teacher. He won an HBCU Got Talent contest and has performed in front of a number of big names including Wanya Morris. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Skyler Maxey-Wert – Skyler is a professional ballet dancer originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is a second soloist for Semperoper Ballet in Dresden, Germany. His singing style is soul and R&B – Instagram Tik Tok
- Carly Mickeal – Zaremba is her real last name. The 24 year old, who has been featured in a promo introducing herself, is a dog groomer based out of Simi, California. Carly is a graduate of CSU Channel Islands. She plays local gigs, and her father is also a musician. – Instagram Tik Tok Watch her audition journey.
- Kaylin Roberson – Originally from North Carolina, Kaylin is now based in Nashville. The country singer has more than 23K followers on Instagram. She auditioned with her boyfriend Matt Gorman (See below) – Instagram Tik Tok
- Matt Gorman – Matt is Kaylin Roberson’s boyfriend and the photo (below) indicates they stood in front of the judges together. Originally from Philadelphia, the raspy singer become interested in music while playing baseball for Lipscomb in Nashville. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Cameron Whitcomb – Cameron comes from Nanaimo, the same city in British Columbia that season 18 star Lauren Spencer Smith is from. The singer performs Americana, Southern rock and Country. – Instagram Tik Tok
- Saylor Woodmansee – 18 year old pop singer and model from Oklahoma City was a child prodigy. Her video singing “Tattooed Heart” at 10 years old racked up 54K views (Watch). Additionally, a video of Saylor performing the “Halo Challenge” has 873 views and 154K likes. (Watch) She also has starred in musicals.
