There is no American Idol Live tour for the finalists this summer. But the Top 10 do have a gig lined up! The finalists along with in-house mentor Bobby Bones, will reunite at the Lunar Block Party on Saturday July 20 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. The concert is part of a weekend event that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. No. Really! It does.

July 20, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing and The Museum of Flight is the only place in the world where visitors can commune with the command module Columbia, the spacecraft flown on humankind’s first journey to the Moon. Celebrate with a special one-night-only reunion concert featuring American Idol winner Laine Hardy and all of the Top 10 finalists hosted by Bobby Bones. But first, a tribute and toast will mark the exact moment Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the lunar surface: at 7:56 PM PST 1969.
Wouldn’t it have made more sense to book an act that was popular back in the summer of 69? Also, general admission tickets for the concert are…$125! But hey, kiddos under 4 are FREE. $300 for VIP. So. Ok then! I’m going to assume the event raises funds for the museum, because those are some crazy expensive ticket prices.

After a champagne toast, VIPs are welcome to front-row seating for the 50th anniversary concert, or they can enjoy the show from a private balcony outside the Lounge.
