It’s only Tuesday, and we’ve already got song spoilers for Wednesday’s American Idol Top 6 performance show, featuring the songs of Burt Bacharach and Hal David plus Songs the Idols Wish They Had Written.

Lazaro Arbos spilled his picks to Belinda Thomas of @belindasLAmusic

Lazaro Arbos

“Close To You” – Bacharach/David originally sung by The Carpenters – (Oh boy. Trainwreck dead ahead)
“Angels” by Robbie Williams – A Song I Wish I Had Written (The reaction to this ought to be interesting and hilarious)

Candice Glover tweeted a song hint yesterday: “I have covered this artist twice on my YouTube channel, however the song I’m singing is not originally theirs. The song is originally by a Band of the early 80s, but was done by this current artist.”

The speculation that it’s “Love Song” by The Cure, which Adele has covered.  Oooh. More spoilers from @BelindasLAMusic

I’m going to keep this post at the top of the page and update it with the spoilers as they arrive!

Early spoilers have prompted @IdolSpoilers to spill what they know.:

Lazaro Arbos – “Close To You” – Bacharach/David originally sung by The Carpenters – (Oh boy. Trainwreck dead ahead)
Lazaro Arbos – “Angels” by Robbie Williams – A Song I Wish I Had Written (The reaction to this ought to be interesting and hilarious) (Lazaro sang this song in Hollywood He’s mediocre even here…and watch how the prodcers lay on thick with the sob story)
Amber Holcomb – “I Say A Little Prayer” by Burt Bacharach/Dionne Warwick – UPBEAT!!!
Amber Holcomb – “Love On Top” by Beyoncé – UPBEAT AGAIN!
Angela Miller – “Anyone Who Had A Heart” by Burt Bacharach/Dionne Warwick – I suggested “Don’t Make Me Over” for her, but this song is in the same dramatic vein.
Angela Miller – “Love Came Down” by Kari Jobe
Candice Glover – “Don’t Make Me Over” by Burt Bacharach/Dionne Warwick  –  SHE’LL KILL IT.
Candice Glover – “Love Song” by The Cure/Adele – DITTO.
Janelle Arthur– “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” by Burt Bacharach – Janelle is now the official I WONDER WHAT SHE’LL DO WITH THAT contestant (And Candice, too).
Janelle Arthur – “The Dance” by Garth Brooks – Could be a crowd pleaser.
Kree Harrison –  “What the World Needs Now” by Burt Bacharach and Hal David – Hm. This has the potential to be snoozy.
Kree Harrison –  “Help Me Make it Through The Night” by Kris Kristofferson – One of the great songs of the 70’s.  Kree could kill it.
