X Factor winners, Alex & Sierra, debuted a new song at a fan event in New York City today. The jazzy tune is deceptively breezy at first, before the chorus lays out an ominous message, “If you wake up and see me on the news…I did it all for you.”
Fittingly, the tune breaks out on the bridge with the duo singing in atonal harmonies, like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde, “They’re coming to get us, so we better run/Are we going to pay for the things that we’ve done…”
