Aerial silks performer, Alan Silva was born in Brazil, but is proud to be an American citizen. He tells the America’s Got Talent judges, Howie Mandel, guest judge Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell that he comes from a circus family. Alan loves to perform, but because he is a little person, people advised him to be a clown.

“I’ve been bullied my entire life,” Alan said. “So I’m a little bit nervous about that.” Simon assures him he doesn’t “need to be nervous about that here.” His family is backstage, watching him perform for the first time.

But it was his brother, Alfredo, from Deadly Games, who inspired Alan to audition for AGT. Deadly Games, competed on AGT a few seasons ago. They’re sitting in the audience to cheer Alan on. Simon admits Deadly Games is one of his favorite acts. “I know, they told me that!” Alan said.

The act is full of dangerous twists and turns, which Simon loves! And there is tumbling! The audience response is overwhelming.

Watch Alan Silva display his deadly aerial skills below. America’s Got Talent airs on ABC Tuesdays at 8 pm.
