America’s Got Talent 2023: Atai Show brings Zombie Horror along with creepy contortionism

Remember Adem Show from season 14? Back in 2019, the Adem Dance Crew presented themselves with different themes each time they took the stage. In their audition they portrayed “Mortal Kombat” and then during the judge cuts they did a “Night at the Museum” theme. The crew made it to the finals of Asia’s Got Talent season 2, the year Sacred Riana won the season.

Now they return and are calling themselves Atai Show. In the latest early audition 7 leak from NBC, the dance group brings a Zombie theme. It’s a perfect compliment to the EXTREME pop and lock dancing they perform. The contortionism on display is quite creepy! One member can pop out his shoulder blades so far, that they seem to be breaking through his skin. There are heads that turn almost all the way around and the ability to swivel bodies at the waist at nearly 180 degrees. It looks painful!

Sofia Vergara can’t stop screaming at their outrageous moves. But then, just as the audience is thoroughly freaked out, the quartet breaks out friendlier choreography to the Backstreet Boy’s “Backstreet’s Back.” The room erupts into laughter. Just a little humor thrown in before they end on a scary note reminding the audience that they are laughing at FLESH EATING ZOMBIES!

Along with Sofia, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum all seem amused by the creepy-crawly antics of Atai Show. Adem Show was eliminated at the judge cuts in 2019. Will they finally compete on the live shows? To find out what they think about it, fans will have to tune into America’s Got Talent Auditions 7 on Tuesday July 18 at 8 pm ET/PT.
