Thursday was a big day for Adam Lambert after Roger Taylor and Brian May announced the American Idol alum and pop singer would front a North American summer tour for Queen.
Tickets go on sale Friday March 14. Check out all the tour dates and watch Adam, Roger and Brian as they make the big announcement on Good Morning America at this link. After, the trio headed to Madison Square Garden where they made the announcement to a roomful of press.
Here’s a cool thing. It’s a 3+ minute promo for the tour that included plenty of vintage video of Queen with the late, great Freddie Mercury, plus clips from Adam’s triumphant performance with the band at September’s iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas.
