ABC announces its 2020 premiere schedule. Both Dancing with the Stars and the long delayed The Bachelorette are scheduled to premiere, on Mondays and Tuesdays respectively.
The Bachelorette season 16 starring Clare Crawley embarking on a new journey to find true love, and hosted by Chris Harrison has yet to begin production due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Ideas tossed around include ditching the far flung destinations and just esconsing the cast and crew in a house somewhere for the duration.
As far as Dancing with the Stars 29th season is concerned, there is no word on how producers intend to shoot the all live weekly production. Body contact is unavoidable, because dancing! One way would be to test every participant for coronavirus, and keep them quarantined for the duration. But that’s a lot to ask! Not to mention the crew: live shows have huge crews of tech, trainers, makeup and costume people.
