Who didn’t see this coming? According to US Magazine, coach Blake Shelton’s adviser during The Voice Season 10 Battle Rounds will be his gal pal for now, Gwen Stefani.
Singer Christina Aguilera will return to The Voice as coach for season 10, which means Gwen takes a break from the show, for at least one cycle. But if things go south with her new boyfriend Blake, it could be a permanent situation, if you know what I mean.
Both Blake and Gwen split with their spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, respectively, last summer, leaving the situation ripe for sparks to fly on the coaches panel when the two got together in the fall to film The Voice season 9.
Blake’s past advisors have included Brad Paisley, Meghan Trainor, Little Big Town, The Band Perry, Cher, Michael Buble, Kelly Clarkson, Reba McIntyre, and of course, the ex, Miranda Lambert.
The Voice season 10 premiere on NBC February 29.
