2022 CMT Music Awards Winners: Carrie Underwood Wins Twice

The 2022 CMT Music Video Awards  broadcasted LIVE from Nashville on Monday (April 11) (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*

Originally Kelsea Ballerini and Anthony Mackie, were set to host the show. But Kane Brown stepped in for Kelsea in Nashville after she tested positive for COVID-19. She assisted with hosting and performed remotely.

Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean nab two awards

Carrie Underwood won two awards for Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year with Jason Aldean for their hit song “If I Didn’t Love You.” She performed her new single, “Ghost Story” from her upcoming album, Denim & Rhinestones from the stage of the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas suspended from the ceiling on silks.  Gabby Barrett debuted her new single “Pick Me Up.” She wrote the song with Ross Copperman and Jon Nite. The song can be found on her Goldmine Deluxe album.
