‘X Factor’: What the ‘American Idol’ Alums Think of Simon Cowell’s New Show

Among the 12 million viewers who are watching The X Factor every week is a select group of people who know better than anyone what the contestants on the freshman series are experiencing: the American Idol alumni, who have gone through a very similar experience themselves. (According to an insider, a few Idol grads even tried out for X Factor year, among them: season 6’s Lakisha Jones and Haley Scarnato and season 7’s David Hernandez.)

X Factor Top 12 – Power Rankings – Who Do You Think is Going Home?

You all had the opportunity to vote for your favorites after last night’s X Factor. Who do you think will be going home tonight? Remember: The Bottom 2 vote getters will have to perform a “last chance” song of their choosing for the judges. Each of the panel members votes and if it’s a tie score, the lowest vote getter goes home.

Scotty McCreery will perform “Walk In The Country”, the Keith Urban tune from Clear as Day, at the Country Music Awards on November 9. This was confirmed by the print edition of Entertainment Weekly. (Wouldn’t it be cool if Keith played guitar during the performance?) (Via Windmills)
