Heck yeah. It’s the first The Voice prediction post of Season 11. Get ready for me to be…wrong mostly. Ha. Check out last night’s The Voice polls and recap.

First, let’s check an update of the iTunes chart at close of voting today. Actually, there wasn’t much movement between 2 am this morning and this afternoon. got close, but didn’t crack the Top 10. Therefore, no artists received the 10x multiplier. Just for fun, a took a peak at the Season 10 Top 12. Two artists entered the Top 10–eventual runner-up, Adam Wakefield at #7 with “Soulshine” and winner Alisan Porter with “Stone Cold.” And, in season 9, THREE Top 12 singers entered the iTunes Top 10! Eventual winner, Jordan Smith, zoomed to #1 with “How Great Thou Art.”

I have to wonder if the quick and dirty Playoffs didn’t allow enough time for fans to find favorites. Because, today’s iTunes chart looks more like it did the Wednesday morning after two nights of Playoffs in Season 10. Consider that there was NO iTunes voting last week. Live voting was an interesting experiment, but let’s not do that again.

In any case, I would expect at least Wé, Billy or Ali to enter the Top 10 at some point. As I suspected, Aaron’s unfamiliar song choice was a dud. But I think he’ll be safe this week. Sa’Raya did not crack the Top 200.
