Who’s going home on Week 3? For the first week I have absolutely no idea. It COULD be Chaz and Lacey, but I think there’s too much support for them. I’m going to say Nancy Grace and Tristan McManus, David Arquette and Kym Johnson, or (shock boot) Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas. I hope it’s […]

Kelly Clarkson has released a final version of her next single, “What Doesn’t Kill You (Makes You Stronger) . I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I’m still liking her 1st single, “Mr. Know It All”. It’s a real earworm with a compelling R&B groove. “Stronger” is more like the Kelly we’re used to–upbeat […]
Lauren Alaina will appear on Good Morning America 10/11, the day her debut album, Wildflower, is released. See the schedule HERE.
Lee DeWyze’s old record label Wuli dug into their vaults to dust off a tune the American Idol Season 9 winner recorded before he competed on the hit FOX show.
You can download the tune, “Never There” from iTunes now. Lee recently finished up a club tour and is now writing and recording demos for his next album, due out sometime next year.

Kellie Pickler is ALWAYS a hoot when she drops by the Ellen Degeneres show, and this latest appearance is no exception. After she chats with Ellen about her upcoming guest appearance on 90210 (Check it out on October 18) and her new(ish) marriage to songwriter, Kyle Jacobs, Ellen “treats” Kellie to a “relaxing” facial and massage. Hilarity most definitely ensues.
Finally, a cleaned-up Kellie takes the stage to perform her new single “Tough”.

Rebecca Ferguson announces her debut single, JLS announce “Jukebox” tracklisting, Noel Gallagher: ‘X Factor groups are f**king appalling’, One Direction doll range to be released for Christmas, X Factor finalists move into £6m mansion, Jessie J named as first coach for BBC1’s ‘The Voice’.
Scotty McCreery’s album, Clear as Day came out today and the verdict on the Season 10 winner’s debut is mixed. Slapped together in a few short months, post-Idol debuts nearly always contain at least some generic elements. I always give that first effort a pass, It’s tough to pin down an artist’s individuality on such a slap-dash production schedule. So, I’m keeping those thoughts in mind as I read these reviews. The very last item is a video of Scotty describing Clear as Day track by track for Billboard.
