Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson and One Direction will compete in the X Factor final next week!
The X Factor Top 5 results begin today at 3 pm ET! One contestant goes home, leaving 4 hopefuls to compete next weekend in the FINAL showdown!
Today, the Glee cast taped a performance to air during the live show. Unfortunately, Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt, had to stay behind in Los Angeles to record with Darren Criss and the Warblers. Bummer.
Also, Alexandra Burke and the Black Eyed Peas will perform.
I’ll be live blogging minute by minute right here…
Live Stream and Blog after the JUMP…
Alexandra Burke won X Factor a couple of years ago. She performs her new single. Zzzzzzzzzz. The acrobats behind her were more interesting that she was.

RESULTS!!!
Cher Lloyd and Mary Byrne are in the Bottom 2 and must sing for their lives!
Mary Byrne sings “This Is a Man’s World”. This song was one of her better performances. Still, Mary is so old-fashioned and one dimensional (heh). I can’t see the judges saving her.
Cher Lloyd sings “Everytime”, a Britney Spears tune. Oh. She doesn’t sound very good. Mary outsang her, but it doesn’t matter. The judges are going to put the young singer with pop potential over an aged cabaret singer. OMG. she’s crying. Cut me a break. Man up Cher!
Louis sends Mary through to the Final
Dannii sends Cher through to the final (Mary is toast)
Cheryl sends Cher through to the final
Simon sends Cher through to the final
Safe:
