X Factor UK Season 10 – Bootcamp Spoilers – TOP 24

Updated!

X Factor UK season 10 audition episodes start airing next weekend, so I think it would be a good idea to check out the spoilers.

Judges were assigned their categories early this year – at the bootcamp stage. The reason for this is new dramatic and exciting format. Posters from Digital Spy forums collected spoilers.

Souli Roots (replacement for one of the above)

Check out this thread for more details.

3 acts from each category will make it to the live shows. TPTB are apparently also changing the voting system a bit. Digital Spy has an article about “flash vote”.

UPDATE (09/22/13)
According to UK media, Gary Barlow is pissed because Sharon Osbourne put Souli Roots through to the live shows. Public was present when Sharon picked her TOP 6 Overs in bootcamp and as you can see above, Souli wasn’t one of her choices. Looks like one of the TOP 6 Overs dropped out of the competition and Souli Roots was drafted in instead. Basically, Souli is this year’s Jedward, Wagner, Johnny Robinson, Rylan Clarke, etc. And I thought this season of XF UK would be joke-act-free.

Putting his foot down: X Factor judge Gary Barlow is ‘fuming’ over ‘comedy acts’ after Souli Roots is put through to live shows
Gary Barlow is said to be fuming at The X Factor bosses’ instance of keeping “comedy acts” on the show.

The Take That star is reportedly angry at producers for keeping Reggae singer Souli Roots in the contest, particularly after he demanded there was no repeat of last year when Rylan Clark controversially beat Kye Somes in a sing-off.

An insider told the Sunday People newspaper: ‘Gary wants to find a true star. He gets very serious when it comes to the live shows and knows he will be mentoring very good talent.
