Tonight’s musical guests are P!nk, Sam Smith, Little Mix (and CNCO).

We are live from London. Dermot has a group of small boys in tuxedos dancing with him on stage. And the boys want to host, too! The judges walk on stage and they all wear black.

Grace and Rak-Su are driven in the arena in some fancy cars. Dermot recites the voting instructions.

We are starting the show with a guest performance: Little Mix and CNCO are performing! Little Mix start with ‘Power’. The boys then start with Reggaetón Lento (Remix). Both songs are platinum in the UK.

First round: ‘Song to Win the X Factor’:

Grace Davies – Nothing But Words (Grace Davies)
Grace reminisces about her audition in front of the judges and then her whole X Factor journey.
Grace is performing the song in front of white wall with this song’s lyrics. That wall has a door and dancers come through them to join Grace on stage. It’s a happy, inspirational pop song. Vocally it’s far from perfect, but this year’s X Factor isn’t about the vocals anyway.
Louis says it’s Grace’s time, she is a ready made artist and will be a star no matter what happens tonight. Nicole compliments her songwriting. Simon praises her focus, songwriting, this song. etc. Sharon loved the song.
Stacey Solomon interviews Grace’s parents in the audience.

Rak-Su – Touché (Rak-Su)
The boys wrote this song this week, it was delivered on Wednesday. Again we watch a recap of Rak-Su’s X Factor journey.
They start their performance in the audience, somewhere far back. The song is another standard Rak-Su catchy jam. Is it on iTunes yet?
Louis, Sharon and Nicole give some brief positive comments. The audience is still going crazy. Simon again points out the boys wrote this song this past week. Yeah, they are great at putting together some basic tunes in a short period of time.
George Shelley interviews their mothers in the audience. Simon pleads with the viewers to pick up the phone.

It’s time for the second musical guest of the night – P!nk! She is performing her new single ‘Beautiful Trauma’, from her latest album with the same title. When she finishes, she starts singing her previous single ‘What About Us’.

The next round is ‘The Song of the Series’.

Grace Davies – Too Young (Grace Davies)
Grace watches a video of messages from her family and friends.
Grace performed this song for the first time in the first week of the competition. She won the Prizefight then. The production decided to bring back the big purple song title on stage. This time they added a big rose. Grace gets a standing ovation from the judges.
Louis calls the performance ‘brilliant’. He says she is potentially a worldwide recording artist. Nicole praises her songwriting. Simon calls the song ‘stunning’. He says she and Rak-Su changed the competition. Sharon says Grace paid her dues by playing clubs up north.
Stacey Solomon interviews Grace’s older sister.

Rak-Su – Mona Lisa (Rak-Su)
They watch a video of messages from their family members and friends.
The boys deliver another catchy and repetitive performance. At this point all their performances seem the same to me. Catchy, but so same-y.
Louis says they have everything that they need to make it and compares them to the most successful X Factor groups. Sharon says they’ve performed all her favorite songs. Nicole says they are cool and then says she wants to see them win. Simon once again praises the band and ask the viewers to vote for them.
George Shelley interviews Rak-Su’s friends in the audience.

Time for a recap of all performances from Grace and Rak-Su this weekend. The voting ends in 10 minutes.

We are back from the break and Dermot asks Sharon and Simon why their artists should win. Sharon says Grace should win because she is a soloist and they are a group. What a stupid reason.

It’s time for our final musical guest, Sam Smith. He is performing his new single ‘One Last Song’. After the performance, he tells Dermot he is backing Grace.

And the vote is now closed! Results after the break!

We are back and it’s time to announce the winner. We go back to Stacey and George in the audience one more time. Dermot once again mentions the winner’s single and the video about 16-year old Josh that died from testicular cancer plays again. Poor boy died 10 weeks after his diagnosis.

Okay, now it’s really time for the results. Simon and Sharon bring Rak-Su and Grace Davies on stage one last time.

The winner of X Factor UK S14 is RAK-SU.

Rak-Su are the second group to win the X Factor after Little Mix back in S8. They’ve done what X Factor’s best selling boybands One Direction and JLS couldn’t do. Let’s hope they have at least a fraction of the success those two boybands had.

We are ending the show with another performance of the winner’s single ‘Dimelo’. Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy are here again. The X Factor finalists join them on stage before the end.

What a song. [/sarcasm] I’m getting nostalgic for good old-fashioned ballads.

And we are out. See you next year!
