How to watch X Factor UK from outside the UK?

You can watch X Factor live, online. ITV streams the show through the ITV Player. However, ITV blocks viewers from outside of the UK. To get around that, you need to use VPN connection. If Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is your preferred browser, install Hola extension and set them to UK server. Then open the ITV Player, make a free acounnt and pick the right channel. The player will ask you for a ZIP code Find an active UK ZIP code HERE. Make sure you have the cookies enabled. You can also try to find a working ITV stream on MyiPlayer.com, TVPC.com or FilmON.com.


The X Factor airs tonight at 8:00pm BST (9:00pm CEST, 3:00pm EDT, 12:00am PDT) on ITV 1 (60min).

Soheila Clifford (18, Cheltenham) – She is a part time waitress. Her parents have remortgaged their house twice to support her dreams. They even sent her to stage school. She started singing at the age of 2. Girl sounds very ambitious and serious about having a career in showbiz. She sings Ariana Grande’s »Problem« for the judges. Nicole likes her energy and attitude. Sharon and Louis also like her. Simon likes her ambition, but says her voice isn’t big. 4 YESes.

4 of Diamonds (17-22) – Their names are Caroline, Sophia, Yasmin and Lauren. They impress the judges with a cover of Meghan Trainor’s »No.« 4 YESes.

Nate Simpson (23, Slough) – He sings Sam Cooke’s »A Change is Gonna Come«. 4 YESes.

Christopher Peyton (46, London) – He is originally from Virginia, USA. He grew up singing in church before moving to the UK 20 years ago. He already works in the music industry as singer/songwriter. He performs Ben Harper’s »I’ll Rise« for the judges. Great rapsy vocal. Simon compares him to Seal. 4 YESes.

It looks like they are trying to squeeze in as many auditions as possible tonight.

Cori Burns (60, Hastings) – This lady drives in on a disability scooter. She is a big fan of cockatoos. She reveals she is a retired songwriter. In the past she tried pitching her songs to SYCO. Er dream is having a #1 album of her own songs. Well, good luck with that. She is a big fan of cockatoos. She performs Bryan Adams’ »Run to You«. Poor vocal. Nicole gives her a YES. 3 Nos.

Will Rush (21, Manchester) He’s been a songwriter for about a year. Previously he worked as an actor for many years. He performs an acoustic cover of Zara Larsson’s »Lush Life« for the judges. Simon says playing a guitar isn’t entertaining unless the song is a killer. 4 YESes.

Samantha Atkinson (32, Hull) – She is a landlady and a mother of two girls. She made it to bootcamp last year and was eliminated after a clash with Ryan Ruckledge. She performs Adele’s »When We Were Young«. 4 YESes. Simon says she sounds like a »pub singer«.

Kristy Murphy (21, Wirral) – She burts into the room after being told NO by the producers. She begs the judges to give her a chance. She sings Alicia Keys’ »If I Ain’t Got You«. Sharon says NO, the other three put her through for sheer determination.

Double Trouble – Former couple. Guy raps, lady sings. 3 Nos. Simon suggest them to get back together.

Garry Greig (23, Fauldhouse) – He is a window fabricator and works 12-hour shifts. He says his voice is like »Scottish Marvin Gaye«. He sings Stevie Wonder’s »Signed, Sealed, Delivered«. He has a big soul voice. 3 YESes.

Mike Hough (25, Essex) – He is a musician and a part time charity worker. He says he started singing on YouTube and got a Mobo nomination after releasing a single independently, but lost the »UK’s Best RnB & Soul« award to ADELE. His dream is to be a full time musician. He sings Alanis Morissette’s »Ironic«. He has a smooth, current voice. Ready to go into the studio. Glowing comments from all 4 judges. 4 YESes. James Arthur’s »Impossible« plays as Mike leaves the audition room.

BOOTCAMP. Simon throws a party for the contestants. The judges show up in the middle of it. Sharon: “Tomorrow is when the business starts.” It’s time to face the wall of songs!
