FIRST LOOK: Simon Cowell gets more than he bargained for as hopeful Jenesa Gill plants a huge kiss on his lips during wild audition on The X Factor
His girlfriend Lauren Silverman better look away from the TV during Saturday night’s episode of The X Factor.

Simon Cowell was left bewildered after kooky hopeful, Jenesa Gill landed a huge kiss on his lips during her audition, which will air on ITV this weekend.

The 35-year-old full-time mother from Manchester is seen giving her all while performing Shakira and Wyclef Jean’s hit single, Hips Don’t Lie.

Davide Papasidero – 25 year old singing teacher from Rome, Italy; previously a finalist on X Factor Italy in 2011
He is wearing white wings. He murders Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” and raps. He gets three YESes (Nick isn’t there.).

Alex Boye – 44 year old singer and musician from North London; he has previously appeared on America’s Got Talent and has a viral video on Youtube (cover of Frozen’s »Let It Go«) with 70 million views
He performs Pharrell’s “Happy”. He is quite good. 4 YESes.

Janesa Gill – 35 year old full-time mum from Manchester (originally from The Philippines)
She loves Simon. She performs Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” and snogs Simon. He says he likes her hips and lips, but not singing. Cheryl says YES to piss off Simon.

Rock and Rose – Kevin Carrick (24) and Becky Rose Joyce (24) from Dublin
They are extremely nervous and look very serious. The guy strums guitar and the girl sings Emeli Sande’s “Heaven”. It’s a competent cover, but these two are completely raw. The judges fawn over them. 3 YESes (Rita isn’t there.). Simon instructs them to smile.

Ellis Lacy – 22 year old weapons engineer in the Navy from Castleford
He performs an acoustic version of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity”. Mediocre. NO from the judges.

Jade McGuire – 30 year old receptionist and mum from Glasgow; in early 2000s she was in a four piece pop group “Pop”. The band charted 3 singles. Jade wants to make a comeback. She thinks this is her last chance.
She sings Tina Arena’s “Chains”. This is not bad, but I don’t see her do well on the show. Anyway, Jade gets 4 YESes from the judges.

NEXT, two groups that used to perform in a gospel choir.

Silver Tone – Keshia Smith (32), Santhy Smith (26), Nicole Nyantakyi (22), Abbee (Wynter) Pule (24) and Rachel McIntosh (31)
First they sing Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be” and it’s really not a good song choice for them. The judges send them off stage to rehearse a gospel song.

BEKLN – Nathan McIntosh (29), Baison Kuguwe (31), Kadeem St Clair (22), Lawrence Rowe (22) and Emmanuel Onafowokan (26); soul RnB group
The guys sing James Bay’s “Hold Back The River”. They are okay. 4 YESes. BTW, Nathan is brother of Rachel from Silver Tone.

Later Silver Tone returns. They perform a mashup of Mary Mary’s “Can’t Give Up Now” and Aretha Franklin’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and they even get a pianist on stage. INTERESTING. They are much better than BEKLN, IMO. 4 YESes Brace yourself for Gospel Stars: The Rivals.

Charli Beard – 17 year old student from Hull
She sings Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come”. It’s one of the first songs she heard her grandfather sing. Girl definitely can sing, even though I didn’t love some of her choices of phrasing. Simon says she came on like a kitten and turned into a tiger. 4 YESes.

Vicki-Ann Nash – 35 session singer and mum from Birmingham
She sings Robyn’s “Show Me Love”. 4 YESes.

Rumour Has It – Saffron Silva (17), Abby Eades (19) and Leah Gooden (17) from Surrey
These girls auditioned last year as solo singers and were put in a manufactured girlband with two other girls. Louis cut them during the 6 chair challenge. Now they are back. They perform Blackstreet’s “No Diggity”. They are really good. 4 YESes.

Monica Michael – 25 year old singer/songwriter and youth worker from North London
She was on the show last year. Cheryl eliminated her during the 6 chair challenge.
She sings Christina Aguilera’s “Impossible”. She is technically a very good singer, but as a whole package… Hmm. Anway, she gets 4 YESes.

This is it for tonight.

Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini admit ‘regrets’ over booting out Monica Micheal in last year’s competition as she returns with show-stopping performance
She was knocked out of the six-chair challenge in last year’s The X Factor.

But aspiring singer Monica Michael was back with a bang when she returned with a stunning rendition of Christina Aguilera’s Impossible on Saturday night’s show.

The 25-year-old youth worker, from north London, gave such a powerful performance that returning judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell were forced to admit their ‘regret’s at letting her go in 2014.

Mum of two Jade McGuire sails through her X Factor audition… 10 years after failing to find lasting fame in flop pop group
It was an evening of blasts from the past on Saturday night’s The X Factor.

And none more so than single mother Jade McGuire who delivered a show-stopping rendition of Tina Arena’s Chains – 10 years after her stint in failed pop band, Pop.

The 30-year-old returned with the hope of impressing music mogul Simon Cowell, as well as former Girls Aloud star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who she claimed rocketed to fame around the same time her band were attempting to reach the top.
