TOP 11 became TOP 10 yesterday when Jack Walton was unceremoniously sent home. Tonight, another act bites the dust. John Legend and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini perform. Cheryl’s new single “I Don’t Care” was released last night at midnight and it’s #1 on iTunes with at least one other version charting. This performance should seal the deal for Cheryl’s 5th solo UK #1 single.

In other news, James Ingham, The Daily Star’s columnist, tweeted some great news earlier today:

Yep, Adam Lambert is set to debut on the big X with Queen. Sam Bailey’s debut album will be re-released before the holidays and I guess Rihanna’s booking means R#8 is around the corner. We will see Gary Barlow with his two Take That bandmates. Also, One Direction pre-taped a performance earlier today. I wouldn’t bet against them getting another performance slot for the finale.

We start with another cold open. Yep, Jack Walton was bitten by a female vampire last night and it was all over for him.

The usual entrances of Dermot O’Leary and the 4 judges follow. The phone lines are still open.

TOP 10 sing Katy Perry’s “Firework”. They all sound terrible. What a mess. I think they are competing for the worst part of the group number or something like that. The audience is happy for the group number to end.

Time for a long recap.

John Legend is here and he is performing “Ordinary People” and “All Of Me”. Brilliant. At least some real music for us to rest our ears.

5 minute warning! Cheryl performs after the break. Well, apparently her performance is pre-recorded.

We are back and the phone lines are now closed!

Cheryl is no longer at the table, preparing for her pre-taped performance. LOL The other three judges chat with Dermot.

Next up is Cheryl, performing “I Don’t Care”.

Another commercial break.

Time for the results!

The judges join their acts on stage.

Safe:
Lauren Platt
Andrea Faustini
Ben Haenow
Only The Young
Fleur East
Stevi Ritchie
Jay James
Paul Akister

Bottom 2:
Lola Saunders
Stereo Kicks

Lola Saunders sings Aretha Frankin’s “Natural Woman”.

Stereo Kicks sing Pink’s “Perfect”.

Decision:
Louis sends home Lola Saunders.
Cheryl sends home Stereo Kicks.
Mel B sends home Lola Saunders.
Simon sends home Stereo Kicks, because Lola sang better in the sing off.

DEADLOCK!

Lola Saunders received the fewest votes and is leaving the competition.

Next week’s theme is DISCO. One Direction and Sam Smith perform.

Okay, good news for Lola: she won’t have to endure next week’s theme.

ETA: Apparently the 4 judges and the producers decided that next week’s theme is Queen vs. Michael Jackson

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini sizzles in plunging crop top and thigh-high boots during X Factor performance… as viewers accuse her of miming
It was supposed to be her triumphant return to the X Factor stage as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini performed her new single I Don’t Care on Sunday night’s results show.

However, horrified fans took to Twitter in their droves to lash out at the starlet – who looked sensational in a plunging white cropped top and thigh-high boots – and accuse her of miming during the performance, which was pre-recorded.

But a spokesman for Cheryl insisted to MailOnline that the 31-year-old performer was singing live, despite what her detractors claimed.

It was farewell to another of Cheryl’s girls, Lola Saunders.

Cat fight! Cheryl Fernandez-Versini stuns in sexy black leopard print mini dress… while Mel B covers up in a jumpsuit for the X Factor results
After the sparkle of Saturday night Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B both went for classic black on Sunday’s X Factor results show.

Although Cheryl’s added leopard print texture, tight bodice and flippy skirt had the 30-year-old singer winning the fashion fight yet again.

She showed off her tiny frame in a strapless mini-dress while Mel kept things low-key in a simple jumpsuit.
