Holding the Christmas No 1? X Factor winners Little Mix release debut single in Perrie and Jade’s hometown
The Christmas number one has always been a subject for debate, with critics saying the X Factor makes it impossible for anyone else to get a look in.
So this year’s winners Little Mix have gone back to their roots in an attempt to make it to the top of the charts.
The girls released their debut single, Damien Rice’s Cannonball, in the hometown of members Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwall.

They may have won the competition but it seems Little Mix are too tired to celebrate.
The majority of the group snubbed the X Factor wrap party last night with only one member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, staying to party with her fellow contestants.
The redhead was also the only member of the girl group to dress up for the occasion, with the rest of the girls opting to wear trainers.

It may have been Little Mix who walked away with The X Factor crown, but that’s not stopping the other contestants fighting to prolong their 15 minutes of fame.
The undignified bunch turned up to celebrate the end of the series at the season wrap party in London on Tuesday night.
And it was Amelia Lily and Sophie Habibis who left a lasting impression as they flashed their flesh and underwear for all to see.

Frankie Cocozza was up to his old tricks last night, but employed a new sidekick for double trouble.
Mild-mannered Jonjo Kerr, who was eliminated in the first round of The X Factor live shows, was seen lashing out at photographers and protecting his shaggy-haired friend from further melodrama.
The singing rejects were attending the ITV1 show wrap party, alongside champions Little Mix and runner-up Marcus Collins, at the DSTRKT nightclub in central London.

He may have almost got into an argument with them but this morning Frankie Cocozza seemed to be on good terms with the group of girls he had partied with last night.
The two blondes, who were pictured having a row with the shamed X Factor contestant following an appearance at the wrap party, were spotted doing the walk of shame as they left a West London hotel this morning.
Still wearing the same clothes as the night before, the females walked closely behind another X Factor hopeful, Jonjo Kerr.

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has called time on her romance with Zayn Malik.
The 18-year-old singer – who met Zayn when his band One Direction performed on The X Factor in November – said she and her bandmates are going to be ‘like nuns’ because they haven’t got time to have boyfriends.
Talking about meeting Zayn and the former X Factor boyband, Perrie said: ‘They were so nice and gave us loads of advice.
