As they prepare to go their separate ways next year, One Direction made sure they left a lasting impression at the BBC Music Awards 2015 on Thursday afternoon.
Posing up a storm on the red carpet, the pop sensations – who will embark on a year-long break – were among a whole of stars set to take to the stage at the Genting Arena in Birmingham.
And it was Niall Horan who lapped up most of the attention, as he arrived in quite the city chic ensemble, consisting of a satin off-white jacket and tight black jeans.

And Harry Styles set Twitter alight on Thursday night with his latest risqué fashion choice as he arrived with his bandmates at the BBC Music Awards in Birmingham.
The 21-year-old hitmaker hit the red carpet in a pair of retro-style flared trousers emblazoned with a pinstripe pattern while he tucked the garment into a black shirt.

They’re due to take a ‘hiatus’ next year.
And it’s seemingly a long time coming as One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson is believed to have thrown the mother of all hissy fits when the band were filming their appearance on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man on Wednesday.
The father-to-be tossed his £600 phone across the stage, causing it to smash, when it started ringing as the comedian questioned him, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, the Daily Mirror reports.

Harry, 21, dispelled rumours he’s recorded a solo album while Louis, 23, confirmed the break will last no longer than 18 months which will no doubt provide some light relief for devout Directioners.

Former X Factor contestant Sam Callahan claims he was put in a headlock and repeatedly punched during a fight with a fellow contestant while on tour.
The 21-year-old told The Sun on Sunday he had to visit a hospital after the bust-up with Rough Copy’s Kazeem Ajobe in Newcastle last year.
Within 24 hours, X-Factor bosses booted Ajobe from the live shows for what they described at the time as a ‘backstage incident’.
