Lots of lashes, little talent… I blame judges for X Factor fiasco
This season’s X Factor has been plagued with problems.

Kelly Rowland fell sick, probably because she insists on performing in a bikini, meaning she missed a crucial episode.

The name of the girl band, the first in the show’s history to make it this far, had to be hastily changed because it infringed on the copyright of a charity, which wailed it had lost thousands.

One contestant, probably because he had a degree from Oxbridge (very well covered up by the show’s producers), retired from the fray while another was sacked because of his excessive ‘partying’.

Westlife perform an emotional swansong as they take to the stage at The X Factor final
Louis Walsh may not have had an act in the X Factor final tonight, but one past choice of his was represented on stage tonight.

Iconic Irish ‘boy’ band Westlife, formerly managed by the judge, performed at the Wembley arena for the show’s final, singing What About Now to the 10,000 strong crowd.

The five took their traditional positions standing simply in a row behind their mikes for the emotional last performance.

Comeback kid Amelia Lily voted off the X Factor after stunning duet with mentor Kelly as Little Mix and Marcus make it through
Amelia was voted off The X Factor tonight, missing out on a place in tomorrow night’s final show.

Instead, Little Mix and Marcus Collins were voted through by the general public after all three finalists performed at London’s Wembley Arena.

Amelia’s departure came after she had earlier wowed viewers with a stunning duet alongside mentor Kelly Rowland, as the pair belted out a pitch perfect River Deep, Mountain High.

But Amelia suffered through her first song, a rendition of Christina Aguilera’s Ain’t No Other Man, appearing breathless at times and unable to hit the high notes with what sounded like a sore throat.

You’re over it then? Kelly Rowland rushes across town to support her favourite act Misha B moments after Amelia Lily is voted off X Factor
Amelia Lily probably expected her X Factor mentor Kelly Rowland to stick around for a little bit after last night’s show to comfort her.

But instead of wiping away the tears of her eliminated act, the former Destiny’s Child singer hot-footed it across town to support her favourite contestant Misha B.

Kelly, 30, left Wembley Stadium in northwest London to the G-A-Y club in the city where the budding singer performed.

There’s only One Direction for Caroline Flack and Harry Styles… opposite sides of the studio: Loved-up pair ordered to stay apart by X Factor bosses
Caroline Flack and Harry Styles were forced to stay apart as they both appeared on The X Factor last night, because show bosses feared ‘backlash’ surrounding their relationship.
