Inside the X Factory: This year’s series has been tainted by scandals over drugs and bullying, but that’s not what shocked LIZ JONES when she went backstage at the show
But then, at 4.39pm, a miracle happens. A judge arrives! It’s Tulisa, wearing a purple velour Lipsy tracksuit. She’s surrounded by an entourage of broken-nosed young men wearing medallions; I hug my handbag closer.
‘Hi!’ she says in the direction of the redhead in Little Mix (sorry, but bar Jesy, these girls are so forgettable). And that’s it! After exactly 22 seconds, she wafts out again, into her locked dressing room along the corridor.
I ask Jesy about her mentor, how much help she has been. The huge eyes swivel, unsure what to say.
I then learn Gary Barlow has arrived. Is he coming to see Marcus?
I shoot into the corridor, but the only evidence the Take That singer is here is the presence of Big James, a huge bodyguard who does not leave his spot outside the dressing room for the next few hours. What sort of example is that to give to these new stars on their first steps? Make it big, get yourselves £12,000 of new teeth like Tulisa, then lock yourself away?
Then, ta da!, Kelly Rowland is here. ‘Hi!’ she says, to no one in particular. She whispers in the ear of make-up supremo Natalya, then retreats behind the gold star on the door of her dressing room after just 11 seconds in the room.
That is the sum total of the interaction I witness between judges and the children whose lives have been hijacked and held up to ridicule to feed the X Factor production line.

‘I’ve forgiven Tulisa’: X Factor evictee Misha B says she is moving on after judge’s accusations of bullying
She missed out on a place in the X Factor final following claims she had been bullying other contestants.
But Misha B has come forward today to insist she forgives judge Tulisa Contostavlos for making the accusations in the first place, just hours after she was voted off the show during the semi-final last night.
The 19-year-old singer said she had learned from the situation and is not holding a grudge against Tulisa, or fellow judge Louis Walsh, who made similar allegations.

X Factor’s Misha B ‘offered record deal’
X FACTOR star Misha B has already been in talks with a record company – hours after being booted off the show.
The singing sensation was only eliminated from the hit series last night, but it has been reported that the 19-year-old has already had her first offer.
During an interview with ITV1’s This Morning, host Phillip Schofield put the axed singer on the spot when he asked if she had been in talks for a recording contract yet.
Giggling, Misha coyly said: “I can’t confirm if I have signed anything yet.”
Seconds later, she added: “I’ve not signed anything yet, but some great things have come my way.”

As Dermot told us several times last night, it’s the worst time in the competition to leave. Misha B just missed out on the X Factor final at Wembley yesterday, but she reminded us just how amazing she is with a stonking final performance.

She made it through to the X Factor final tonight ahead of group mate Misha B.
But Amelia Lily’s journey to the this point has not been without it’s dramas.
It seemed the 17-year-old’s chances were all but over in the very first week of the show, when she was controversially voted off along with Jonjo Kerr, 2 Shoes and James Michael.
But, thanks to the exit of a certain Frankie Cocozza, the 16-year-old has had a second chance at taking the coveted title of X Factor champion.

Television bosses will need to hire Cilla Black to host the next series of X Factor, as the show seems to have turned into a dating game.
Amelia Lily, who made the final three last night along with Marcus Collins and Little Mix, is said to be seeing One Direction singer Niall Horan.
The couple met on the show at the end of last month, as the boyband and JLS performed with the finalists on charity single Wishing On A Star.

They’ve made X Factor history as the first girl group ever to make it to the final.
And after show diva Misha B was voted off last night, Little Mix became the bookie’s favourite to win the competition, with odds-on at 4/5.
Elation was written all over their faces as the girls emerged from the studio after last night’s show, arms raised to mimic Tulisa’s trademark X Factor salute.

And tonight’s show saw her do exactly that with an energetic performance of two of her hit songs, which saw her stripped down to virtually her underwear.

It was an emotional night for Tulisa, which saw her ‘little muffins’ Little Mix become the first girl group ever to make the X Factor final.
But that wasn’t the only thing which made the night particularly special for the 23-year-old.
Tulisa’s mother, Anne Byrne, with whom the singer has had a troubled relationship in the past, was there to give her daughter a hug after the show.
