The X Factor nearly turned into a gruesome saga as Janet Devlin thought she was going to throw up onstage.

During the first song Guilty Pleasures round, the Irish teenager sang looked uncomfortable as she battled to remember the lyrics to Hanson’s anthemic pop song MMMBop.

After receiving criticism from the judges, the 16-year-old blamed the mishap on ‘something I ate’.

X Factor Frankie Cocozza’s off Christmas single
COKE-snorting contestant Frankie Cocozza has been axed from the X Factor finalists’ charity single.

The wildman, booted off after taking the class A drug, recorded his vocal to Wishing On A Star before he left.

Fans who buy the song will hear him, but he has been edited out of the radio version and will be cut from the video.

Frankie, 18, has also been told he cannot join the finalists on this weekend’s X Factor to showcase the song, which also features JLS and One Direction.

The floppy-haired singer is also likely to be banned from the X Factor final, when all finalists traditionally appear.

But the same may not be able to be said for the singer’s beauty regime.

Eyebrows have been raised (perhaps not his) over allegations that the 23-year-old has been receiving backstage Botox injections.

X FACTOR bosses have sparked fury by allowing favourite Marcus Collins to have backstage Botox jabs.

The Scouse singer, just 23, has reportedly undergone FOUR filler treatments before performances since the start of the ITV1 series.

It’s believed he wore a hairpiece on Sunday night’s show after his latest injections went wrong.

With his overly smooth forehead, the Botox made him appear as if he had a receding hairline just hours before he was due on stage.

He has since been seen hiding beneath a woolly hat. Medical experts and TV campaigners hit out, saying Marcus is far too young for the procedure.

X Factor fix fury heightens as Amelia Lily replaces Misha B at the end of M&S advert
Fans of X Factor contestant Misha B were left fuming last night when the new Marks & Spencer advert was unveiled – showing newly reinstated contestant Amelia Lily taking over Misha’s part at the end of the commercial.

Devotees of the show have taken to Twitter to slate the move, insisting the edit is ‘subliminal messaging’ to fix the 17-year-old as the winner of the contest.

And as the advert hit screens for the first time it has also emerged show bosses are also planning to screen a sob story surrounding the teenager on Saturday night’s live show in a bid to keep her in the singing contest.

Despite OfCom investigating complaints that she is promoting her fragrance, Tulisa Contostavlos has insisted that she will continue to perform her trademark gesture on tonight’s X Factor.

The 23-year-old has been accused of illegally advertising her perfume by flashing her ‘The Female Boss’ tattoo.

But the singer says she’s been showing off the inking long before she joined the X Factor and will continue to long afterwards.

But life hasn’t been easy. Talking for the first time of how she was beaten by an ex-boyfriend as a teenager, the singer reveals that she only found the strength to leave him after a year of abuse, when he raised his hand to hit her one last time.

“It was horrendous,” recalls Alexandra, 23. “I couldn’t talk to anyone about it. That’s the whole point of domestic violence, you don’t speak about what you’re going through – you don’t have the confidence to.”
