Let the battle commence! Simon Cowell in a fight to sign X Factor’s Ella Henderson
Simon Cowell faces a battle to sign Ella Henderson.

The music mogul is keen to offer the departed ‘X Factor’ contestant a contract with his Syco label, but he has competition from fellow Sony imprints Columbia, Epic and RCA, who are all bidding for her talents.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Ella is the most exciting thing to have come out of this year’s ‘X Factor’.

‘I’d rather be absolute s**t than just stand there and sing the same old stuff’: X Factor’s Rylan Clark hits out at Gary Barlow in explosive Twitter rant
He’s previously claimed their constant jibing at each other on The X Factor is purely ‘banter’.

But it would seem Rylan Clark has had just about enough of Gary Barlow’s critical remarks after hitting out at the judge in an explosive Twitter rant.

The 24-year-old hopeful’s outburst came after Gary reportedly told attendees at a charity event for Mencap earlier this week that he thought Rylan was ‘absolute sh**e’.

At the charity event, Gary asked the audience: ‘I’m serious. What are we going to do about Rylan? I might have to be honest on Saturday night and go, “Rylan, I thought that was absolute s**te”.’

He then asked his fans what they thought of the eccentric Essex boy, when they are said to have started booing and chanting, ‘Get him out!’, to which Gary replied: ‘I’m glad you agree!’

And after weeks of hitting back at the Take That singer’s comments with playful remarks, it seems Rylan took it to heart.

Writing on his Twitter page, Rylan said: ‘”I’d rather be ‘absolute s***’ than just stand there and sing the same old stuff every week on the spot… #boreme @GBarlowOfficial.’

He added: ‘And I entered the x factor… NOT the voice… cheers.’
